Most of the solutions will require a level of adaptability to work with off-the-shelf Microsoft solutions and work to integrate them into the current production environments. As other requirements arise the successful candidates will be expected to research, develop, and implement novel solutions to problems.Additionally, the migration away from Windows 10 to AutoPilot deployed, Endpoint Managed instances of Windows 11. The candidate would be required to review and plan the migration of the current estate of Windows 10 devices to the EM modern management platform, including the migration of on-premises policies, software applications and compliance baselines to co-management. Currently MECM is responsible for the management of Windows 10 devices while EM is responsible for Android and iOS devices.The Met Office currently have an existing endpoint management solution in the form of Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) and Endpoint Manager (Intune). One of the successful candidates will be responsible for the assessment and deployment of Modern Desktop solution architecture.They will be the focal point for technical expertise within the team and have day-to-day responsibility for ensuring work within the team is carried out to a high technical standard that aligns with the processes already in place.
